KAWOTRAC Optioned promotion of Bamboo tree growing on banks of rivers to reduce landslides /mudslides and soil erosion on river banks. Kasese district is one of the districts in Uganda experiencing heave river floods/ inundations .Many people have lost their lives and property to heavy floods/inundations.
